We provide solutions for customers interested in adding renewable energy sources, like solar or wind, to their homes or businesses. Please keep in mind that we’re not affiliated with developers who may promote incentives or special pricing, so it’s essential to review any offers thoroughly to ensure they suit your goals.
Program Details
- Must be an existing electric customer.
- Applies to wind, solar, and sustainable biomass or biogas projects.
- Supports generation projects from 3 kW to 1 MW, depending on the technology.
- Requires both an Interconnection Agreement and a Renewable Power Purchase Agreement.
- Customers are responsible for any infrastructure upgrades and installation expenses.
- Maintenance of the generating equipment and interconnection wiring is the customer's responsibility.
- Customers must transfer all rights to environmental assets from energy sales.

Getting Connected: Steps for Installation
Follow these steps to ensure a smooth interconnection process:
- Research Requirements
Review all requirements, including municipal restrictions, building and zoning permits, insurance, safety regulations, and any associated fees or technical specifications. Our engineering standards and tariffs outline essential interconnection guidelines. - Submit Your Application

Las Vegas, NV- 10 kW and Below: No application fee for Level 1.
- Greater than 10 kW: Level 2 applications require a $50 fee plus $1.00 per kW.
- Technical Review
We’ll conduct a review to assess if your project meets our system’s capacity or if an additional impact study is required. - Sign Agreements
After review, you’ll sign the necessary agreements, enabling your project to progress. - Approval and Installation
Once approved, construction begins, and meters are installed. Projects must be completed within 12 months of agreement execution.
